Rapper Snoop Dogg headlined the night’s entertainment, along with Rick Ross and Soulja Boy. Snoop has come under fire for performing at an event celebrating Trump’s inauguration. Trump did not attend the inaugural Crypto Ball. However, multiple sources describe the event as a celebration of the president-elect’s support for cryptocurrency. The gala featured performances from Snoop Dogg, Soulja Boy, and Rick Ross.

Some fans were surprised to see the “Gin and Juice” rapper lend his voice to the event, as Snoop has been critical of the president-elect in the past. Many took to social media to express their opinion on Snoop Dogg’s decision to perform.

However, the Grammy Award winner, 53, seemed to shrug off the backlash. A video of Snoop beside Ross shows the West Coast legend (real name: Calvin Broadus, Jr.) decked out in a suit, tie and dark sunglasses.
